The Marine Foundation operates with minimal permanent team augmented by Associates, appointed on a project-by-project basis and an extensive network of experts and working partnerships than span around the world. We are constantly building new affiliations and expanding the network who support, advise and assist the Marine Foundation.

Our Associates’ skills include marine biologists, marine Eco system regeneration expertise, marine management expertise, education, writers, photographers, university lecturers architecture, media and journalists.

Through working in this flexible way, The Marine Foundation is in a position to build unique teams responsive to the demands of each project.

Core Team 
 
Celia Gregory, Founder and Creative Director. 
Celia has over twenty years experience in envisaging, directing and managing creative projects around the world. After completing the PADI dive master in 2004, she realised the potential for underwater eco art. After extensive research she launched the pioneering Marine Foundation in 2009. She has become a renowned leader in the field of addressing marine conservation issues from a creative perspective. Celia is a member of the Ocean Artist Society. 
 
Toin Adams, Head of Concept and  sculpting 
Toin is a major international sculptor working in India, Portugal and England. With extensive experience on large scale installation incurring the 40 metre Green Man in The Custard Factory in Birmingham.

Louisa Harris, Core Creative Team and marketing 
Louisa joined the Marine Foundation in October 2014 as a model and free-diver for the sinking and filming of Apsara;Spirits of the Sea. Currently she
is working with Grant Thornton UK’s Sustainability team and 6Heads sustainability collective.

Associate team: marine conservation
 
Naneng Setiasih – Science advisor and programme developer. Naneng is CORAL’s Coral Triangle Regional Manager and a conservation science management specialist. She was the founder of the Indonesian branch of The Reef Check Foundation. 
 
Dr Ken Collin– Science advisor. Senior research fellow at Southampton university. Expert in artificial reefs for fishery enhancement, environmental evaluation of construction materials, and coastal ecology – GIS habitat mapping, sea-grass, calcareous algae, biogenic reefs.
 
Rani Morrow Wuigk, co-founder of the Karang Lestari coral reef regeneration project in Pemuteran, Bali. The project recently won the UNDP Equator Prize for community development.
 
Tom Goreau – Science advisor. Coral expert, founder of Global Coral Reef Alliance.. Founding member of  the Biorock® Process, a coral restoration method.
 
Komang Astika, Manager Bio-rock Centre in Pemuteran. Has over ten years  experience managing community led marine management in Indonesia and running the award winning Karang Lestari bio- rock regeneration project.
 
Associate team: social ventures
 
Guy Battle – Business Development advisor. Director of The Sustainable Business Partnership and The Social Value Portal. Previously  lead partner at  Deloitte for Sustainability. Founder of Planet Positive and  dcarbon8. Guy has extensive experience in sustainable design having been a Director at BattleMcCarthy Ltd for over 15 years.
 
Amal Meleigy – Tourism expert with 20 years’ experience in the travel industry, co-owner of the largest independent tour operator to Egypt, the Caribbean and the Far East. Amal introduced the first charter from the UK to Sharm, Hurghada and Cairo.
 
Peter Tyson – Ethical business and development adviser. Grant director at the Roddick Foundation, previous head of global franchising for the Body Shop International.
 
Associate team: art and communications 
 
Sally Bowness – Digital media and Website. Founder SB3 Digital. Previous roles include writing and directing multi-platform campaigns for the BBC, Creative Director at BDA Creative, and co-founder of Ratchet Digital.
 
Sabrina Rowan Hamilton – Artist  She has won numerous art prizes as well as being shortlisted for the much coveted Nat West Art Prize three years in a row. She has exhibited in Tokyo, Miami and Hong Kong where she is represented by the Cat Street Gallery.
