The Mermaid
It all begins with an idea. The mermaid was created in collaboration with Reef check Indonesia, local sculptor Wayan Winten, the local community of Jemeluk Bay and sponsored by Body Shop Indonesia.

The Mermaid was created and installed in 2013 in Jemeluk Bay, East Bali. the sculpture was created with concrete and a steel frame on a hollow reef ball style base covered in volcanic rock to encourage natural settling of coral, we transplanted corals in the bowl she holds.
